Versaterm Public Safety is changing the relationship between public safety agencies and their software providers. Everything we do originates from our focus on customer experience and outcomes.

SPIDR Tech, a Versaterm Public Safety company, provides the world’s first automated customer service platform for public safety, allowing agencies to optimize their operations and build trust with their communities. Our platform automatically provides updates to 9-1-1 callers and victims of crime, in addition to surveys that provide insight into their direct experiences with the agency. 

The Role

Come help transform a team of great engineers going through a technical and organizational transformation and an incredible increase in scale. We are preparing for over 500% growth in the next 18 months. This team is a full stack role in which you can expect to work on API Services, Application UI, Backend System Services, and will work with our team of deployment engineers who are installing software at our client sites.

The Key Competencies

• 5 years Software Development experience 
• 3 years Cloud experience 
• Ability to code in Ruby, SQL, JavaScript
• Agile processes SCRUM/Kanban 
• Great communication skills 
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

The Nice to Haves 

• Previous Experience in GovTech or Public Safety Tech 
• Experience with technical transformations
• Infrastructure as Code
